3. Artificial Intelligence

JobPilot uses artificial intelligence to analyse information you provide and generate or tailor application materials.

Information required to perform these functions may be processed using the OpenAI API. OpenAI states that data submitted through its API is not used to train its models by default, although certain data may be retained temporarily for service operation and abuse monitoring in accordance with OpenAI's applicable data practices.

AI-generated material can contain errors. You should review application materials before submitting them to an employer.

4. Service Providers and International Processing

JobPilot uses third-party providers for functions such as form processing, data storage, website infrastructure, analytics, communications and AI processing.

These providers may process or store information outside South Africa. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to handle those transfers in accordance with applicable data-protection requirements.

5. Storage and Security

We take reasonable measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure. However, no online service can guarantee absolute security.

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide and operate JobPilot, meet applicable obligations, or until deletion is requested where applicable.
